Zigzag - The Lucky Horseshoe

The Lucky Horseshoe is a versatile running event hosted by Zig Zag Running at the Suffolk Running Centre in Bury St Edmunds. Offering distances from 5k to ultra marathon, participants can choose their preferred challenge on an out-and-back course featuring the Gallops Route and Golding Hills. The route is scenic and social, passing through Newmarket with views of racehorses in training.

Aid stations with drinks and snacks are available every 10k, and parking is included. The event has a seven-hour cut-off and a mass start. Finishers receive a bespoke medal, with a "lucky dip" option for previous medals.
