Zig Zag Running - Fireworks 50

The Fireworks 50 is a 50-mile running event organized by Zig Zag Running, held at Wodson Park Sports and Leisure Centre in Ware, Hertfordshire. Now in its fourth year, this unique race takes place on a traffic-free athletics track, offering runners a safe and controlled environment. Limited to 50 participants, the event features chip timing, aid stations around the course, and a 12-hour cutoff time.

Runners enjoy free parking, refreshments including tea, coffee, and cake, as well as race photos and music throughout the day. As the race progresses into dusk, participants wear head torches, adding to the special atmosphere enhanced by local Bonfire Night fireworks.
