About the race
The Herts Hobble is a cross-country walking and running event held in North West Hertfordshire, starting from The Scout Hut in Baldock. Participants can choose between two circular routes of 26 or 18 miles, traversing undulating countryside featuring grassland, fields, and woodland with panoramic views. The event caters to walkers, fast walkers, joggers, and runners aged 14 and above, with all finishers receiving a certificate.
Refreshments, including drinks, biscuits, snacks, and a light meal, are provided at the start, checkpoints, and finish. The Herts Hobble is part of the Essex and Herts Triple Challenge and emphasizes a friendly, outdoor atmosphere in scenic Hertfordshire surroundings.
