Herts Hobble 2026
Herts Hobble takes place on 21 June 2026 at the Scout Hut, Park Drive, Baldock SG7 6EN. There is no parking at the Scout Hut. Competitor parking is at the rear car park of Tesco Baldock SG7 6BN; the what3words location for the rear car park is jams.bless.sprint. Use the main Tesco entrance and follow the Click and Collect signs to the rear car park.
The event follows circular cross country routes to the south east of Baldock across undulating grassland, fields and woodland with panoramic views of the Hertfordshire countryside. Route materials and GPX files will be posted on the organiser website seven days before the event.

Minimum age for either course is 14. Any entrant under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times. Entries open on 1 March 2026 and close on 13 June 2026 or earlier if the entry limit of 175 is reached. Entry fees are £15.00 for LDWA members and £22.50 for non members. Entries are not transferable. Cancellations before 30 May are refundable less a £3.00 administration fee.
Refreshments include drinks and biscuits at the start, snacks and hot and cold drinks at checkpoints, additional water points if hot, and a light meal at the finish. Participants should bring their own mug. Dogs are not permitted. The event forms part of the Essex and Herts Triple Challenge. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
