Course and logistics
The route starts in the base camp at Hyde Hall Farm and uses the farm grounds. The course is a trail event and includes some tarmac paths and grassland. There is an aid station at the lap point. A baggage area is provided and parking is included on site, with an attendant to direct vehicles and assist with race number collection. The event is cupless, so participants should bring their own cups or bottles for refreshment refilling.
Format notes
There are event cut-offs of six hours or four hours depending on the start wave. A Heavy Half Marathon is typically five laps with an option on the day to change to six or seven laps.
