Affinity Hatfield 5K Series 2026
The Affinity Hatfield 5K Series is a midweek race series made up of three 5 kilometre events held on consecutive Wednesday evenings: 26 August 2026 (incorporating the Hertfordshire Senior Championships), 2 September 2026 (incorporating the Hertfordshire Veterans Championships) and 9 September 2026. Each race has a maximum field of 375 entrants; all races are currently full and a waiting list is open.
Races are organised under UKA rules with a permit noted as included in Power of 10 and a Certificate of Course Accuracy 23/177. Minimum age to compete is 14 years. Veteran age groups for both men and women are V40, V50, V60, V70 and V80.
Prizes are offered for individual race winners and age grades, and series awards are based on the best two of three race times; entrants must participate in all three races to qualify for series prizes. Team prizes are open to affiliated clubs only; a male team is four members and a female team is three members, with all three races counting and best two times used.
Race numbers are allocated at registration during the first race and must be kept for the series. No refunds or deferrals are permitted; transfers are allowed only in their entirety and only before the first race. Headphones of any description are prohibited. Toilets are provided at Race HQ.
