Duck N Dash Aquathlon
Organised by Freedom Tri, the Duck N Dash Aquathlon is a pool-to-run multi-sport event held at Letchworth Outdoor Pool in Letchworth Garden City, Herts. The race combines a pool swim with a run through the local Norton Common nature reserve and is the sixteenth running of the event.
The event is chip timed and offers age-group, open and female categories. It is open to a maximum of 350 participants and accepts entrants from ages 8 through 80 (ages as at 31/12/2026). The race includes junior distances, a two-person adult relay option where one team member swims and one runs, and provisions for visually impaired and mixed ability athletes in partnership with the British Triathlon Federation.
Registration is required and timing chips are distributed at registration; organisers recommend using the pre-race registration opportunity when available. Non-BTF members must purchase a BTF race pass at registration; the pass costs listed are £8 for adults and £2 for under 25s. A booking fee of 6% is added at checkout. Entry prices range from £15 to £70 depending on entry type.
Prize categories cover junior and multiple adult age groups and relay teams. Junior and adult prizegiving take place at the finish area on Norton Common.
