Memorial 5k Run/Walk in Harrisonville
This community memorial 5k is a run/walk of 3.1 miles held at Harrisonville High School parking lot by the baseball fields, 1504 E. Elm St., Harrisonville, MO 64701. The course begins at the baseball fields and returns along Harrisonville Park and Rec trails.
Registration opens July 1, 2026 and closes September 12, 2026. The standard registration fee is $35. Children 10 and under may participate free of charge; they do not receive a complimentary t-shirt unless one is ordered separately for a fee of $20. The last day to receive a free event t-shirt is August 29; after that date t-shirts will not be available.
Walk-up registration is available on race day. The event is stroller friendly. Animals are not allowed due to insurance restrictions. Post-event refreshments include water, BodyArmor, granola bars, cookies, and bananas.
Proceeds support Little Flat Creek Ranch, a foundation that partners with Catch a Dream to provide hunting and fishing experiences for children facing life-threatening illnesses and their families. Funds raised will help pay for trips to Little Flat Creek Ranch in Purdy, MO. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
