Event Overview
The Lily's House 5k is a community race taking place in Adrian, Missouri. The event raises awareness and support for Lily's House, a long-term substance abuse recovery home for mothers.
Course Details
The course is run within Adrian Park, featuring views of a lake and passing through the antique Frontier Village. The route is a mix of paved and gravel surfaces and includes small inclines. There is one hydration station located at the halfway point.
Awards and Festivities
Awards are given to the first overall female and male finishers. Medals are awarded to the first, second, and third place finishers in each age group. Post-race festivities include refreshments such as hot coffee, water, pastries, and bananas, along with music.
Additional Events and Rules
A kids' 1 mile fun run takes place before the 5k, and registration is not required for this youth event. Strollers and leashed pets are permitted but must start at the back of the race. The local fire department is present with trucks for children to see. Prizes are awarded to the first boy and first girl in the fun run.
