Lotawana Dam Run
The Lotawana Dam Run is an athletic and community event hosted by the Lotawana WaterSki Club at Lake Lotawana, Missouri. The event takes place at Marina 27 and features a course that runs end to end across the dam. The route is noted for having no hills.
Participants can complete the distance in various ways, including:

The event is open to multiple modes of movement, such as running, walking, using a scooter, or cartwheeling. During the main portion of the event on the dam, motorized vehicles are prohibited to ensure a clear path for participants.
In addition to the main distance, there is a dedicated Wheels Division specifically for children aged 10 and under. This division allows kids to use bikes, scooters, or toy vehicles like Jeeps while the dam is closed to regular traffic. The gathering also includes a parking lot party with a DJ and a live auction featuring various items. A packet pickup is held prior to the event at Marina 27 during a scheduled happy hour, where a portion of sales supports the Lotawana WaterSki Club.
