Pirate Dash & "Glow" 5K
The event is on Friday, April 17, 2026, at 16400 N Mullen Rd. in Belton, Missouri. It includes a 5K Glow Run/Walk and a 1-Mile Family/Kids Walk, both starting at 7:30 PM CDT, as well as a Virtual 5K option. The event is a fundraiser for the Belton Educational Foundation.
5K participants receive a race shirt if registered by April 3 (or while supplies last) and a finisher's medal. Awards are given for the fastest overall male and female, fastest masters male and female, and top male and female in age groups: 10 and under, 11-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80 and over. One-Mile walk participants receive a finisher's medal and can pay an extra $10 for a race shirt if registered by April 1.
Optional Glow Run Fun packages are available for $10 or $20, which may contain items like glow sticks, clip-on lights, or face paint. Participants can also purchase digital raffle tickets for a chance to win a custom wooden medal rack.
Packet pickup is available on Thursday, April 3, from 2-6 PM and Friday, April 4, from 8 AM to noon at the Belton Educational Foundation office (321 Colbern St, Belton, MO), as well as at the race site on Friday from 6-7 PM. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
