Your Heart Counts 5K - Blairsville, GA
The Your Heart Counts 5K is the second annual community 5K presented by Union General Health System on October 3, 2026 at Meeks Park, 490 Meeks Park Rd., Blairsville, GA. The event supports cardiac health and organizers encourage participants to wear red in support of the cause.
Both the start and finish lines are located adjacent to Pavilion #3 in Meeks Park. The race route combines pavement and hard-pack gravel with gentle rolling hills and follows a scenic creek through the North Georgia Mountains. Parking is available in Meeks Park and is free.
Registration opens February 22, 2026 and closes September 27, 2026. A pre-race registration fee of $30 is listed and a race day registration rate is listed as $40. Pre-race packet pick-up for registered participants is scheduled for Friday, October 2 at the Union General Wellness Center, 376 Deep South Farm Rd., Blairsville, GA.
Awards are presented to the top three overall male and female finishers, top masters male and female, and the top three male and female finishers in age categories spanning 10 and under through 80 and over.
