Helen Holiday Half Marathon
The Helen Holiday Half Marathon is a trail running event in Helen, GA on December 12, 2026, at 1788 Highway 356. The event offers two distances:
- Half Marathon (about 13 miles)
- 10K
The course is on trails and is described as scenic but not flat. The half marathon includes close to 2,000 feet of climbing, some technical trail sections, and stretches where participants will need to hike. Course distances are approximate.
Race services and rules include a single water station for the half marathon at about mile 8 with an associated cutoff, a strict 4.5 hour cutoff for the half marathon, and no early starts. There are no mile markers or age group awards. Participants must follow course markings and be alert at road crossings.
All half marathon and 10K runners receive a beanie, a pint glass, and a medal. Registration by November 1 is required to be guaranteed those items. There are no refunds, transfers, deferments, and swag is not mailed. Overall top three male and female finishers receive unique custom awards.
