Hogpen Hill Climb 18K
The Hogpen Hill Climb is an annual road race organized by Habitat for Humanity of Northeast Georgia. The event includes a main 18K hillclimb and an accompanying 5K race. This edition is the 48th running of the Hogpen Hill Climb.
The Holiday Inn Express of Helen serves as the host hotel for the event. Pre-race registration and packet pick-up are held in the hotel conference room. The Start and Finish for the 5K and the Start for the 18K are located at the River Pavilion, which is described as being across the street from the Holiday Inn Express. Special room rates are offered to race participants who arrive early and stay for the weekend, and rooms are limited.
Race results and event photos from recent editions are published after the races. All proceeds from the races are used to fund operating expenses for Habitat for Humanity of Northeast Georgia, including building houses. Habitat for Humanity of Northeast Georgia is a 501c3 nonprofit and an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International.
