Hogpen Hill Climb 18K
Habitat for Humanity of Northeast Georgia organizes the Hogpen Hill Climb 18K alongside a shorter community race. The event includes an 18K Hogpen Hillclimb and a Cool River Tubing 5k, with race activity centered near the River Pavilion in Helen, Georgia.
The Holiday Inn Express of Helen serves as the event host hotel. Pre-race registration and packet pick-up take place in the hotel conference room. Special room rates are offered to race participants, with limited availability noted for those who arrive early and stay for the weekend. The Start/Finish line for the 5k and the Start for the 18k are located at the River Pavilion, which sits across the street from the host hotel.
All proceeds from the races are used to fund operating expenses for Habitat for Humanity of Northeast Georgia, including building houses. Results and photos from recent years are kept on file for reference, including entries for 2025 and 2026. The event is presented as part of the organization’s fundraising and community engagement calendar. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
