Yorkshire Day Run
The Yorkshire Day Run takes place at Roundhay Park, Princes Avenue, Leeds LS8 2HH. The event offers multiple distance options and a separate children’s race on the park paths.
Participants follow a marked and marshalled course that is a mix of trail and path and is undulating. Road running shoes are recommended. Buggies are allowed; wheelchairs are possible but not ideal because some sections are bumpy and tight. The course may be altered up to event day.
Distances:
- 5k one lap around Roundhay Park
- 10k two laps of the course
- Half Marathon just over four laps plus a 1.1k loop
- 1.5k kids race short course for children
The event uses full race chip timing with chip on bib numbers; split times are provided for each lap. There are water stations, finish line water and sweets, medical cover, trophies for winners, and unique medals for finishers. Entrants receive a Yorkshire pin badge and can earn voucher points through bookings.
Practical details: the event hub is at the middle bandstand near the Lakeside Cafe; toilets are at the event hub; bag storage is next to registration tents but space is limited. Instant race results will be available online immediately after the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
