Yorkshire Day
Yorkshire Day is a canal running event on the Leeds & Liverpool Canal based at Rodley Cricket Club, Canal Bank Sports Ground, Moss Bridge Road, Rodley, Leeds LS13 1RL. The route uses towpaths and is described as flat with only gentle elevation around the locks.
The event offers chip timed results and a fully marshalled course. Feed stations are placed at approximately every three miles. The event does not provide disposable cups so runners should bring a reusable bottle or cup. Finishers receive a bespoke medal and post race treats. The event is licensed by the Trail Running Association. Parking is available at Rodley Cricket Club for £5 cash with proceeds supporting the club.
GPX route files are provided for download before race day. Distance downgrades may be available on the day subject to conditions. Transfers and deferrals can be arranged online up to 72 hours before the event. Entry fees range from £29 to £43 depending on distance.
