EvenSplits Leeds 5K Series
The EvenSplits Leeds 5K races are held monthly from February to November at the University of Leeds Brownlee Centre, on the cycle circuit at Bodington Playing Fields, Bodington Avenue, Adel, Leeds LS16 8NA. Events generally take place on the fourth Wednesday of each month; occasional schedule variations are published for specific dates.
Races are chip timed and UKA licensed, with results appearing on Power of 10. Results are sent by text as runners cross the finish line and mile splits are published. A chocolate bar is provided at the finish.
Entry is by advance online registration at RaceBest. Single race entry is shown as £10/£12, with bulk purchase options that can save up to 35% compared with single entries. Each entrant is assigned a race number with an embedded timing chip at first entry; that number must be retained and reused for subsequent events at both Leeds and York 5K races. Only red 5K numbers are valid for reuse. If a previously issued number was a different colour it can be swapped for a red 5K number at Registration the first time it is used. Entrants are entitled to one free replacement number in any 12 month period; subsequent replacements are charged at £4.
If a race is cancelled due to COVID 19 restrictions, places are transferred automatically to a rescheduled date. A place may be deferred once to the next race in the calendar year if requested at least three days before race day. There are no refunds and race places cannot be transferred to another runner.
