Leeds Abbey Dash
The Leeds Abbey Dash is a city-centre 10K road race scheduled for Sunday 29 November 2026, with the start line on Wellington Street. Run For All took over organisation of the event in 2025; Age UK remains the lead partner charity.
The race has been designated as the England Athletics 10K Championship event. An elite field will return in 2026 and places require an application with verified qualifying evidence. Closing date for elite applications is 31 July 2026. Published qualifying times are: female sub 36:00 for 10KM (or sub 17:30 for 5KM) and male sub 30:30 for 10KM (or sub 14:30 for 5KM). Entrants must be 15 years or over on event day.
Event services and practical information include chip timing, a finisher’s goody bag, an optional pre-order finisher t-shirt and iTAB engraving, and an exclusive finisher medal. Water stations will provide 330ml bottles and recycling bins will be available on course. Pacers sponsored by Arla Protein will carry flags with target finish times. Medical provision includes first aid stations near water stations, a first aid unit and recovery area near the start and finish, and roaming first aiders.
Other arrangements: a designated baggage store with a tear-off strip on the race number, collection and donation of discarded clothing left at the start area unless placed in baggage, official race photography available to purchase, published results after the event, trainer recycling drop-off near the Race Office, and a restriction that only bone conducting headphones are permitted on course.
