Leeds Abbey Dash : event summary
The Leeds Abbey Dash is a road running event over 10K in Leeds, scheduled for Sunday 29 November 2026 with the start line on Wellington Street. Run For All took over organisation in 2025; Age UK remains the lead partner charity for the event.
The event has been selected as the England Athletics 10K Championship. Elite entry applications are invited with qualifying times: female sub 36:00 for 10KM (or sub 17:30 for 5KM) and male sub 30:30 for 10KM (or sub 14:30 for 5KM); applications close 31 July 2026.
Entrants must be 15 years or over on event day. Race services include chip timing, an exclusive finisher medal, a finisher goody bag, and an option to pre-order a finisher t-shirt and iTAB engraving. Water stations will provide 330ml bottles and recycling bins are available on course. Pacers sponsored by Arla Protein will carry flags showing target finish times.
Event logistics note baggage must be dropped at the designated Baggage Store with the tear-off strip from the race number attached to the bag. Medical cover will be available at regular intervals and at fixed first aid stations near water points, plus a first aid unit and recovery area close to the start and finish. Clothing left at the start will be collected and donated. Photography will be provided by an on-course photographer and official results will be published after the event.
