About the race
The Leeds Abbey Dash is a city road race organised by Run For All on Sunday 29 November 2026. The event has a long association with Age UK, which remains the lead partner charity while Run For All now stages the race. The meeting has been selected as the England Athletics 10K Championship, giving it a national championship status for the distance.
The course starts on Wellington Street, heads toward Cardigan Fields, passes the gothic ruins of Kirkstall Abbey, turns back down Abbey Road past the Abbey House Museum, and follows Kirkstall Road to return to Wellington Street for the finish.
Included for entrants are a finisher medal, chip timings, a goody bag and an optional finisher t-shirt. Entrants must be aged 15 years or older on the day of the race. Pacers sponsored by Arla Protein will be on course and first aid will be available at fixed stations. Water stations will offer 330 ml bottles and recycling bins will be provided at each water station.
Practical arrangements include baggage drop with numbered labels, allocated toilets, official race photography and published results after the event. Elite entry places are limited and require application with verified qualifying times; applications close 31 July 2026.
