Event overview
The Leeds Abbey Dash is a city 10K road race held on Sunday 29 November 2026. Run For All took over organisation in 2025 after Age UK delivered the event for nearly 40 years; Age UK remains the lead partner charity. The event start line is on Wellington Street. The Leeds Abbey Dash has been selected as the England Athletics 10K Championship event.
Entry and on-the-day information
Entrants must be 15 years or over on event day. Included for participants are chip timing, a finisher’s goody bag, an exclusive finisher medal and an option to pre-order a finisher t-shirt and an iTAB engraving. A designated baggage store is provided; runners should use the tear-off strip on their race number and tie it to their bag before check-in. Water stations on course will supply 330 ml bottles and recycling bins will be available near water points. Pacers sponsored by Arla Protein will carry flags showing target finish times. Medical personnel will be available at regular intervals, with fixed first aid stations near water stations, a first aid unit and recovery area close to the start/finish, and roaming first aiders. MarathonPhotos will provide event photography. Only bone-conducting headphones are permitted; use of other headphones may lead to disqualification. Travel notes mention nearby bus stops on Boar Lane and Infirmary Street and that on-street parking will be suspended around the start/finish area.
