Event Details

The Leeds Abbey Dash is a 10-kilometer running event held on Sunday, 29 November 2026. The start line is on Wellington Street. The event is part of the Run For All series, having been organized by Age UK for nearly 40 years prior to 2025. Age UK remains the lead partner charity for the event.

The race has been selected as the England Athletics 10K Championship event. It features chip timing, an exclusive finisher medal, and a finisher's goody bag. An optional finisher t-shirt and iTAB medal engraving can be pre-ordered.

On the Day

A baggage store is available. Pacers sponsored by Arla Protein will be on the course to help runners achieve their target finish times. Water stations with 330ml bottles are provided along the route. Bone-conducting headphones are permitted, but other types may lead to disqualification. Official photographs will be available for purchase after the event.

Sustainability and Travel

The organizers encourage participants to use recycling bins provided at water stations. A used trainer recycling scheme with drop-off points is available via a partnership with JogOn. Travel options include car, bus, train, and air, with Leeds City Centre car parks and Leeds Railway Station being key points. Road closures will be in effect around the start and finish areas. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
