Event overview

The Leeds Abbey Dash is a 10K road race in Leeds scheduled for Sunday 29 November 2026. Run For All took over delivery of the event in 2025, with Age UK remaining the lead partner charity. The race has been selected as the England Athletics 10K Championship event. Entrants must be 15 years or over on event day.

On the day and practical information

The start line is on Wellington Street. The event includes chip timing, a finisher’s goody bag, an option to pre-order a finisher t-shirt and iTAB, and an exclusive finisher medal. Baggage can be left in a designated Baggage Store using the tear-off strip from the race number. Water stations on course will provide 330 ml bottles and recycling bins will be available at each station. Pacers, sponsored by Arla Protein, will carry flags showing finish times. Medical personnel will be available at regular intervals, with fixed first aid stations near water stations and a first aid unit and recovery area near the start and finish. MarathonPhotos will take race photographs and results will be posted on the event website after the race. Only bone-conducting headphones are permitted on the course. A JogOn trainer drop-off will be available next to the Race Office in the Event Village. Travel options listed include car, bus (nearest stop Boar Lane), rail and air.
