About the race
The Leeds Abbey Dash is a road running event held on Sunday 29 November 2026 and organised by Run For All. The race is the England Athletics 10K Championship event for 2026 and remains closely linked with Age UK as lead partner charity.
The course starts on Wellington Street, runs toward Cardigan Fields, passes the gothic ruins of Kirkstall Abbey, goes by the Abbey House Museum and follows Kirkstall Road back to Wellington Street for the finish. Entrants must be aged 15 years or older on race day.
Race services listed for participants include a finisher medal, chip timings, a goody bag and an optional finisher t-shirt. There will be fixed water stations on course supplying 330 ml bottles and recycling bins at each water station. First aid will be available at fixed medical stations and pacers sponsored by Arla Protein will run with finish-time flags. A baggage store operates using the baggage label on the race number. Toilets will be provided at allocated locations. MarathonPhotos will take pictures on course and official results are published on the event results page soon after the race.
Elite entry places are limited and require an application with verified qualifying evidence. Qualifying times and the application deadline are listed for the 2026 elite field; applications close on 31 July 2026.
