Yorkshire Coast 5K : Scarborough, 11 October 2026
The Yorkshire Coast 5K is organised by Run For All and takes place in Scarborough on Sunday 11 October 2026. The race starts and finishes at Scarborough SPA and follows a coastal route around South Bay, past the harbour, around the headland into North Bay and back to the SPA.
Entrants must be 11 years or older on event day. Run For All and Scarborough Athletics promote inclusivity and encourage entrants of all abilities and ages to walk, jog or run. Race HQ is located at The SPA, Scarborough YO11 2HD.
Event provisions include a sustainable slate medal, a tree planted on behalf of each entrant, and an option to purchase a 100% recyclable finisher t-shirt. A water station is placed between the 4 km and 5 km marks. Toilets are available in The SPA and on course. First aid is provided at Race HQ and along the route, and a chase vehicle will be on hand for participants who require assistance. Bag drop is in the Ocean Room on the first floor at the back of The SPA; baggage labels should be attached when handing in bags.
There is no parking at The SPA; nearby public car parks include Albion Road, Victoria Road, Falconers Road and St Nicholas Parade. Road closures will be in place along the seafront in both South Bay and North Bay. Bone conducting headphones may be worn but volumes should be kept low so marshals and emergency vehicles can be heard.
