Yorkshire Coast 5K
The Yorkshire Coast 5K is organised by Run For All and takes place on Sunday 11 October 2026 in Scarborough. The event starts and finishes at the Scarborough SPA and follows a coastal route around South Bay, past the harbour, around the headland into North Bay and back to the SPA.
Entrants must be 11 years or older on event day. The organiser encourages people of all abilities and ages to walk, jog or run and offers assistance for participants with specific requirements.
Included for participants is a sustainable slate medal, and a tree will be planted on each participant's behalf. There is also an option to purchase a 100% recyclable finisher t-shirt. Race HQ is located at The SPA, Scarborough YO11 2HD, with baggage drop in the Ocean Room; participants are asked to attach the baggage label from their race number to their bag.
A water station is placed between the 4 km and 5 km marks. Toilets are available at The SPA and on course. First aid provision is available at Race HQ and along the route; marshals and a chase vehicle will be on hand. There is no parking at The SPA for runners; several nearby car parks serve the area and road closures are in place along the seafront. Recycling bins will be provided and trainer drop-off stations for reuse are available next to the Race Office. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
