Yorkshire Coast 5K
The Yorkshire Coast 5K takes place on Sunday 11 October 2026 and is organised by Run For All, with Scarborough Athletics Club noted as the previous organiser. The event starts and finishes at Scarborough SPA and follows a coastal route around South Bay, past the harbour, around the headland into North Bay and back to the SPA.
Entrants must be 11 years or older on race day. The organisers promote inclusivity and encourage people of different ages and abilities to walk, jog or run. Race HQ is located at The SPA, Scarborough YO11 2HD. Race numbers are posted to UK addresses prior to the event; numbers not received can be collected from the Race Office on event weekend.
Practical arrangements include a bag drop in the Ocean Room on the first floor at the back of the SPA, toilets at The SPA and on course, and a water station between the 4 km and 5 km marks. First aid will be available at Race HQ and along the course, with a chase vehicle on hand for anyone who requires assistance. Road closures affect the seafront in both South Bay and North Bay and there is no parking for runners at The SPA; parking is available in nearby car parks.
Event inclusions note a sustainable slate medal, a tree planted on each entrant's behalf, and an optional 100 percent recyclable finisher t-shirt. Entrants are reminded not to allow others to run with their race number. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
