The Hardmoors 15
The Hardmoors 15 is scheduled for 9 January 2027 and is a circular trail event of approximately 18 miles. The route starts and finishes at Robin Hood's Bay and follows sections of the Cinder Track and the Cleveland Way. The event base is Fylingdales Village Hall, Robin Hood's Bay, Whitby YO22 4RA.
Entry is limited to 150 participants and the minimum age is 18 on the event date. Entry fees are listed as Attached £46.00 and Unattached £48.00. Between 22 and 25 February 2026 entry is restricted to those with a valid Hardmoors voucher; general entry opens on 1 March 2026. Only Hardmoors vouchers are accepted during the restricted period.
Participants have an overall time limit of 8 hours to complete the course. Dogs are not allowed on the event. One pound from each entry fee is donated to the Cleveland Way National Trail.
The event is organised as a winter trail and may be cancelled if weather makes conditions unsafe in the North York Moors. In that case no cash refunds will be given, but an entry to another Hardmoors race up to the value of this event may be offered. The option to purchase XCover for refund protection is available.
