The Hardmoors 15

The Hardmoors 15 is a circular ultramarathon in the rugged North York Moors, starting and finishing at Fylingdales Village Hall in Robin Hood’s Bay. The approximate 17.5-mile (28 km) route climbs about 1,700 feet (518 m) and follows the Cinder Track and the Cleveland Way. Runners pass through checkpoints at Ravenscar and Hayburn Wyke before finishing back at Fylingdales.

A new route was introduced for 2025. This winter event operates under an 8-hour time limit and an entry cap of 150 participants. A portion of fees supports the Cleveland Way National Trail, and entrants must carry specified mandatory kit for the duration.
