Dalby Forest Wild Winter Trail Runs 2026

The event on 29th November 2026 offers Trail Marathon, Half Marathon and 10km races set within Dalby Forest on the southern slopes of the North York Moors. Routes mainly follow forest fire roads and provide views across the North York Moors.

The event location is Adderstone Field in Dalby Forest, Low Dalby, Thornton le Dale, Pickering, North Yorkshire, YO18 7LT. Route maps are provided for the 10km and half marathon routes. The marathon comprises two laps of the half marathon route.

Distances

• Marathon 26.2 miles two laps of the half marathon route six hour cut off
• Half Marathon 13.1 miles single loop through forest trails
• 10km 6.2 miles shorter winter trail distance

The event is canicross friendly with one well controlled dog per runner and dogs must remain on a lead at all times. Live chip timing is provided by Timing Up North. All finishers receive a bespoke event medal, Wild Deer merchandise, and snacks and drinks.
