Dalby Forest Wild Winter Trail Runs 2026
Dalby Forest Wild Winter Trail Runs take place on 29 November 2026 at Dalby Forest, Low Dalby, Thornton le Dale, Pickering, North Yorkshire YO18 7LT. The event is held at Adderstone Field, a few miles past the visitor centre in the centre of the forest.
Routes mainly follow forest fire roads and provide views across the North York Moors. Route maps are available on the event information pages.
Distances include:
- Marathon: 26.2 miles, 2 laps of the half marathon route, 6 hour cut-off.
- Half Marathon: 13.1 miles, single loop through forest trails.
- 10km: 6.2 miles, shorter winter trail option.
The event is canicross friendly; one well controlled dog per runner is welcome and dogs must remain on a lead at all times. Live chip timing is provided by Timing Up North and finish-line items include a bespoke event medal, Wild Deer merchandise, snacks and drinks.
Subsidised parking is available at £4 per vehicle, with payment made after the event at Forestry England pay machines. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
