Yeti Trail Half
The event takes place at Bluhm County Park, 3855 S 1100 W, Westville, IN 46391, United States. The course is composed of four loops around the park; each loop is 3.4 miles. Most of the route uses single track dirt trails and includes switchbacks and exposed tree roots. The course will be marked with flags, arrow signs, and survey tape on trees.
Timing will be manual. Runners should wear their bib on the front of their shirt so loops can be recorded at the start and finish area. There is a 4 hour 30 minute cut off for the race.
One aid station will be located at the shelter and will offer water, Gatorade, and prepackaged snacks. Participants pass near parking and restroom facilities each loop, and a picnic table will be available for runners to leave personal items between loops. There will be no aid stations on the trail itself.
Runners will receive a limited edition long sleeve cotton shirt plus a winter hat and gloves in one size. Shirt quantities are limited.
There will be no awards ceremony. Overall winners receive ice spikes, a Yeti figure, and a Starbucks gift card. All finishers may select an item from a prize table that includes old race shirts, mugs, and hats.
The race is part of the Crazy Legs Race Series, which organizes non pavement and pavement events in parks across Lake, Porter, and Laporte counties and includes a land acknowledgement and an inclusivity policy for transgender participants.
