Yankee Doodle DASH 5K Run/Walk

A community running event held over the Fourth of July weekend in Marquette County. The race starts and finishes in Harvey, Michigan, and is run on an accurately measured, fast loop course. Distances offered:

3.1 miles (youth, 12 and younger)

All entrants receive a shirt and a finisher medal. Pancakes or flapjacks are provided for participants. The 5K is described as family friendly and stroller friendly. Youth pricing is $20 and the listed registration fee for the 5K is $25.

Early packet pick-up is available at Queen City Running Co. in Marquette on July 3 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. Awards are given to the top three men and the top three women overall, and to the top three finishers in each age group: 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80+.
