Yankee Doodle DASH 5K Run/Walk

The Yankee Doodle DASH is a Fourth of July weekend event in Marquette County, held with start and finish in Harvey, Michigan. The event includes a measured loop course described as fast, and offers both an open 5K Run/Walk and a youth option for participants 12 and younger.

All entrants receive a shirt and all finishers receive a finisher medal. The event also provides flapjacks for participants. The 5K is described as family friendly and stroller friendly. Early packet pick up is scheduled at Silver Creek Thrift in Harvey on Friday, July 2 from 3 00 pm to 7 00 pm. Awards are given to the top three men and top three women overall, plus top three finishers in these age groups: 10 and under, 11 to 14, 15 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, 70 to 79, and 80 plus.
