Event Overview
The Queen City Half Marathon takes place in downtown Marquette, Michigan. The event is scheduled for July 25, 2026. Two race distances are offered: a half marathon and a 5K called the Breakwater 5K. Registration for the event is open, but there is a strict participant cap of 906 runners.
Course and Race Details
The half marathon course is described as fast and scenic, running through city neighborhoods and along the shore of Lake Superior. The race is chip-timed and has a time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes. Along the course, there are 4 to 5 aid stations. A post-race area may feature music and food trucks.
Registration and Amenities
Registration must be completed in advance, as race-day registration is not available. The event includes a participant shirt, a finisher's medal for the half marathon, goody bags, and a rose for each half marathon finisher.
Packet Pickup
Packet pickup is available on Friday, July 24, at Queen City Running Company from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Race-day packet pickup is also offered.
