Queen City Half Marathon and BREAKWATER 5K : Marquette, Michigan
The Queen City Half Marathon presented by Embers Credit Union and the BREAKWATER 5K presented by Ore Dock Brewing Co. are organized race events in Marquette, Michigan, using 130 West Baraga Avenue as the event address. The main race day is scheduled for July 24, 2027. Chip timing is used, and finishers receive event shirts and finisher medals. Half marathon finishers also receive a rose. The course runs through local neighborhoods and along Lake Superior and includes aid stations and a post-race party area. The event is stroller friendly.

The BREAKWATER 5K includes a course-record cash bonus that increases by $100 each year until the record is broken; at the time provided the bonus amounts are $100 for men and $200 for women. Awards for the 5K are given at a post-race awards ceremony. Registration windows and fees vary by event: registration for the half and 5K opens July 26, 2026 and closes August 9, 2026 with listed entry fees; the youth 5K and the Run the U.P.
