Yandina Five 'O'

The Yandina Five 'O' is a trail running event. The name Yandina means 'to go on foot' in the local Indigenous language. The 2026 edition is the 5th running of the event. It takes place on trails around the township of Yandina on the Sunshine Coast hinterland.

The event offers four distances:

  • 12 km (for participants aged 12 and over)
  • 21.1 km (for participants aged 15 and over)
  • 36 km (for participants aged 18 and over)
  • 50 km (for participants aged 18 and over)

The courses go through Mapleton National Park and some private land. They include sections across creeks, past a lookout, and over hilly terrain.

The event is staged from Terella Brewing, a craft beer brewery in North Arm, Queensland. At the venue, participants can get drinks and meals. There will also be activities for children. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
