Blackall100 : Mapleton, Sunshine Coast
The Blackall100 is a trail running event held on 17 October 2026 in Mapleton on the Sunshine Coast. It follows sections of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland Great Walk through forests, gullies and ridge lines with varied views along the route. The event is a qualifying race for the Western States Endurance Run.

Elevation gain per course is published: 100 km (3290 m), 50 km (1580 m) and 21 km (580 m). All races start and finish at QCCC Mapleton (70 Obi Obi Rd) and use QCCC as the race hub. Event shirts are provided to all entrants; finishers receive a commemorative bell and a buff. Prize monies are listed for first male and female in each distance: 100 km $1000, 50 km $500, 21 km $250.
Mandatory safety equipment is required and checked; examples include a mobile phone with emergency contact numbers, a course map (recommended via Maps.Me KML), a visible race bib, water-carrying capacity (minimums specified), a compression bandage, and items such as an emergency blanket, headlamp and a hi-visibility vest meeting AS/NZS 4602 standards as required. Drop bags are permitted at specified checkpoints for each distance and must be soft, clearly labelled, and meet size and weight limits. Parking is at Mapleton Community Hall with a short walk to QCCC. Spectators and crew access is restricted to designated checkpoints and viewing areas.
