Blackall100 : Mapleton, Sunshine Coast
The Blackall100 is a trail running event held on the Sunshine Coast Hinterland Great Walk with race headquarters at QCCC Mapleton. It is a qualifying event for the Western States Endurance Run and includes an Indigenous smoking ceremony on the Friday evening.

Course and terrain: the routes run through rainforest, gullies and ridge lines with variable views. Published elevation gains are 3290 m for the 100 km, 1580 m for the 50 km and 580 m for the 21 km. Course files and maps are provided for each distance.
Mandatory and recommended equipment: participants must carry specified safety items. Required items vary by distance but can include a mobile phone, race bib, water capacity, compression bandage and an emergency blanket; hi visibility vest and headlamp are required in some conditions. Random gear checks and time penalties apply for missing items.
Logistics and services: the start and finish are at QCCC Mapleton. Event parking is at Mapleton Community Hall with a short walk to the venue. There is a drop bag service with specific checkpoints and limits on bag size and weight; drop bags must be soft, labelled and delivered during Friday registration. A free shuttle service to some checkpoints is provided for supporters.
Entries and finish items: entry tiers apply. All entrants receive an event shirt. Finishers receive a finishers bell and buff. Prize money is offered for top male and female finishers in each distance. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
