About the race

Ultraman Australia is an annual three day endurance triathlon covering a total of 515 km and held at Noosa Heads on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland. The event starts and finishes at Noosa Heads beach in front of the Noosa Heads Surf Lifesaving Club.

The race is organised over three days and divided into four stages. Each day has a 12 hour cut off. The daily stage distances are:

  • 10 km swim and 145 km bike
  • 276.1 km bike
  • 84.3 km run

The event notes a dedicated organising team and local community support from businesses and groups. The first Ultraman Australia was held in 2015. Ultraman Australia operates as an independent event and is not affiliated with other Ultraman distance events or events with similar names.
