Event overview

Ultraman Australia (UM Australia) is a three-day, 515 km multi-stage triathlon held at Noosa Heads, Sunshine Coast, Queensland. The event starts and finishes at Noosa Heads beach, in front of the Noosa Heads Surf Lifesaving Club. Each day of the three-day event has a 12 hour cut-off.

Course and format

The race is divided into four stages over three days. Distances for the three main days are:

  • Day 1: 10 km swim, 140 km bike
  • Day 2: 281.1 km bike
  • Day 3: 84.3 km run

History and organisation

UM Australia is described as an annual event. The first UM Australia was held in 2015. The event has a dedicated event organising team and has support from local businesses, community groups and sponsors.
