XC Turkey Trot 2.2 mile 2026
The XC Turkey Trot is a fun run held on the Gunn cross country 2.2 mile course at 780 Arastradero Rd, Palo Alto, CA. The course starts and finishes on the Gunn track, with parking available at Gunn High School and directions to the track from the parking area.
The event offers a single XC race over 2.2 mile and, new for 2026, a kids half lapper race run in partnership with Joy's Jackrabbits that takes place after the main XC event. There are no official race t shirts, but participants may choose from available retro t shirt options. Organizers provide light, novelty prizes described as silly fun prizes.
Registration is available in advance and a pre race entry rate of $12.69 applied during the listed registration window. Race day registration will also be offered for $15; exact change is requested for on site payments because online payment is not available on race day. The event notes limited spots available and lists remaining capacity.
Family discounts are offered; participants should contact the event director for details. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
