Event overview
The Applied Materials Silicon Valley Turkey Trot is an annual Thanksgiving Day race held on November 27, 2025 in San Jose, CA 95113. The event is produced by the Silicon Valley Leadership Group Foundation. Proceeds are donated to four nonprofit beneficiaries: Healthier Kids Foundation, HomeFirst, Second Harvest of Silicon Valley, and Second Harvest Food Bank Santa Cruz County. Race details

Virtual participants may begin their run anytime from November 27 through December 6 and have 10 days to complete a 5K or 10K; results can be uploaded automatically via the RaceJoy app or uploaded manually. The race also includes a CEO/Executive 5K with tiered options and bundled combinations that pair the Turkey Trot with a Santa Run event.
