X Border 10k : 31 January 2027

X Border 10k is a road running event of 10 km held on Sunday 31 January 2027. The 2027 edition is the event's 16th year and is the fourth time it is organised in partnership with Caledonia Park at Gretna. The licensed event carries a UKA licence.

The route runs from Kingmoor Park in Carlisle to Caledonia Park in Gretna, crossing the English and Scottish border. All finishers receive an XB medal; the event has a history of distinctive medal designs created by Mosslea Cumbria Ltd. A 2027 event T shirt is also produced.

A free shuttle bus is provided from the finish area to the start area before the event. A free photography service is supplied, with pictures posted on the event's social media pages after the race. Official results are posted on the Timing Up North results site within hours of the event.

Entry categories for 2027 include affiliated and unaffiliated fees as listed by the organiser. Previous editions in 2024 and 2025 reached capacity and were sold out. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
