X Border 10k 2027

The X Border 10k is a road race scheduled for Sunday 31 January 2027. The 2027 edition is the event's sixteenth year and holds a UKA licence. The course runs from Kingmoor Park in Carlisle to Caledonia Park in Gretna, crossing the English/Scottish border and finishing at the Caledonia Park outlet.

All entrants receive an XB medal; the event has produced distinctively designed medals over many years. A commemorative T-shirt is produced for the event. Event photography is provided free of charge, with pictures posted on the event social media pages after the race. Official results are published on the Timing Up North website within hours of the event.

A free shuttle bus operates from the finish area to the start area before the race. The organiser is Innovation Sports (Cumbria) Ltd. Recent editions in 2024 and 2025 reached capacity and were sold out. Entry fees listed for 2027 include an affiliated rate of £26 and an unaffiliated rate of £28.
