Event overview
The X Border 10k is scheduled for Sunday 1 February 2026. The 2026 edition is the event's 15th year and is held under a UKA licence. The race starts in Kingmoor Park, Carlisle, and finishes at Caledonia Park, Gretna. The organisers note that the event has worked with Caledonia Park at Gretna for several years and that the 2024 and 2025 events were sold out.

All finishers receive an XB medal; the site includes images of past medals. A free shuttle bus runs from the finish area to the start area before the race. A free photography service will post images on the event's social media after the race. Results are posted on the Timing Up North website within hours and are linked from the event website and Facebook page. Entry fees shown on the site are listed as affiliated £28 and unaffiliated £30.
