Sport In Action 10K
Sport In Action 10K is scheduled for 20 September 2026 at The Sheepmount Carlisle in Great Britain. The event uses an officially measured and certified course by the Association of UK Course Measurers and covers a distance of 10 km.
The route uses a mixture of park paths and quiet country roads and is generally flat or gently undulating. Road surfaces are described as generally okay and runners should take care at turns and follow marshal instructions. The finish is close to the start area. A mapped route and the measurement certificate will be available at event headquarters on race day.
Race organisation details include issuance of race numbers and timing chips at registration. Timed results are published by the event timing provider. Prizes are offered for overall male and female 1st to 3rd and for age groups with the following structure: if an age category has 1 to 17 competitors only first place is awarded, 18 to 27 competitors receive first and second places, and 28 or more competitors receive first second and third places. If an age group athlete places in an overall prize position the age group prize rolls down to the next eligible finisher.
