Sport in Action 10k
The Sport in Action 10k takes place in Carlisle at The Sheepmount. This event features a single distance for participants:
- 10 km
The course is officially measured and certified by the Association of UK Course Measurers. It is conducted in accordance with UKA rules, with the race permit and measurement certificate displayed at the event headquarters on the day of the run.
Participant race numbers and timing chips are issued during the registration period at the venue. Live results for the event are provided by Timing Up North. A safety briefing is held for all participants at the start line prior to the commencement of the race.
Prizes are awarded to the first, second, and third overall male and female finishers. Specialized age group prizes are also available, with the number of awards determined by the volume of competitors in each category. If an athlete in an age category finishes in the top three overall positions, they receive the overall prize, and the age group award moves to the next finisher in that category.
