Sport In Action 10k : The Sheepmount, Carlisle
Sport In Action 10k takes place on 20 September 2026 at The Sheepmount in Carlisle, Great Britain. The event is a measured 10 km course certified by the Association of UK Course Measurers.
Race numbers and timing chips are issued at race registration. Registration for the event closes on 19 September 2026. A full course risk assessment will be displayed at the event headquarters on race day together with route maps, the race permit and the measurement certificate in accordance with UKA rules; the permit number is to be announced. A race safety briefing is scheduled at the start line.
Prizes are offered for overall male and female finishers in first, second and third places. Age group prizes are awarded according to the number of competitors in each age category: 1 to 17 competitors receive one prize, 18 to 27 competitors receive two prizes, and 28 or more competitors receive three prizes. If an age group competitor also places in the overall prizes, the age group prize rolls down to the next eligible finisher. The overall third place prize will not be less than an age group winner.
The published entry fee is £21.00 plus a per-participant fee of £0.50 and a 5 percent charge. Withdrawals made up to 20 August 2025 incur a 50 percent processing charge; after that date no refunds are given. Live results will be provided by the event timing service.
