Sport in Action 10k
Sport in Action 10k is scheduled for 20 September 2026 at The Sheepmount Carlisle in Great Britain. The event is a measured and certified 10 km course, verified by the Association of UK Course Measurers.
Entry information lists a fee of £21.00 plus a per-participant charge (£0.50 plus 5%). Registration closes on 19 September 2026 at 23:59. Race numbers and timing chips are issued at race registration on event day.
A full course risk assessment will be displayed at the event headquarters, together with route maps, the race permit and the measurement certificate in line with UKA rules. A safety briefing will be held at the start line before the race. Live results will be published by a designated timing provider.
Prizes are awarded for overall Male and Female positions 1st to 3rd. Age-group prizes depend on category size: where 1 to 17 competitors take part, 1st place only is awarded; 18 to 27 competitors receive 1st and 2nd; 28 or more receive 1st, 2nd and 3rd. If an age-group competitor finishes in an overall prize position, the age-group prize rolls down to the next eligible finisher. The overall 3rd place prize will not be less than the age-group winner.
