WS10 - Nepean River
WS10 at Nepean River is a recurring 10 kilometre running event held monthly at Tench Reserve, Jamisontown. The course starts and finishes in the same general area as Nepean River parkrun and follows sealed cycle and pedestrian paths along the river.
The route is an out and back course around the river with no road crossings. The sealed paths are described as suitable for pushing a pram and resistant to adverse weather. Runners should expect to encounter other runners, walkers and some cyclists on the course.
Facilities at Tench Reserve include substantial car parking, additional carparks off Tench Avenue and places to secure a bike; participants are expected to provide their own bike lock. Multiple public toilet facilities are available both at the start and along the course, though some may not open until the event has commenced. Several drinking fountains are also present.
Participation requires registration on the WS10 site. Returning runners who have previously registered remain registered. New runners must complete the registration form and confirm via email; a password reset option is available for those who have registered before but need to set or recover their password.
