Wrekin Streak
Wrekin Streak is a fell race organised by Telford Athletic Club at Forest Glen, Wellington, Telford. The event is part of the Shropshire Summer Fell Series sponsored by The Outdoor Depot, Church Stretton. The race distance is 4.5 km (approximately 2.8 miles) with a climb of 247 m (about 810 ft). The event is listed as FRA Race Category AS.
Entries open on Wednesday 1 April 2026 and close on Monday 13 April 2026. The entry fee is £7.00. The minimum age for the main race is 14 or older. For FRA races the U16 category includes athletes who will be 14 or 15 on 31 December 2026.
Junior races for U10, U12 and U14 are held separately with free entry and on the night registration only. Registration is based at the Forest Glen car park. Limited free parking is available on the road and there is chargeable parking in the Forest Glen car park and in a new car park before the one way system. If these are full there is a car park at the Ercall. There are no toilets at the venue. Participants should bring their own pins.
