Telford 10K 2026
Telford 10K takes place on 13 December 2026 at the Telford International Centre with the event organised by Telford Athletics Club. The race uses a mainly flat, two-lap, traffic-free tarmac route that runs through Telford Town Park and along the Silkin Way. The course is sheltered in places and is a UK Athletics licensed event with a certified course measurement.
Entries are organised by wave. Online entries for several waves are closed while entries for the fastest/elite wave and some elite places remain available. Transfers can be made online from the original runner’s account, and race numbers are normally posted about three weeks before the event; transferred entries may require handing over a posted number.
The event includes an inter-area match and the Shropshire AA Championship for eligible athletes; championship entrants are handled through the race organisers. Every finisher receives a bespoke metal medal.
Prizes are awarded in the elite races to the top five men and top five women with stated cash amounts for each place, plus a new course record prize. Masters prizes are offered for first man and first woman in standard age categories and there is a prize for first under-20. Recent years have seen many sub-30 and sub-35 performances and established course records at competitive times. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
