Event overview
The Telford 10K is scheduled for 14 December 2025 at Telford International Centre, TF3 4JH. The race distance is 10 km. The event is organised by Telford Athletics Club and is UK Athletics licensed with a certified course measurement. Entry pricing is shown as £19.
Course and format
The course is a generally flat, two-lap, traffic-free tarmac route using Telford Town Park and the Silkin Way (a former railway line). Race headquarters are next to the start at Telford International Centre. A bespoke metal medal is given to each finisher. The organisers state that the course is well sheltered.
Entries, waves and prizes
Entries are largely closed online, with elite places for the first two waves remaining available until late November by email. Free transfers are available until three weeks before the race, when numbers are posted out. Entrants must be aged 15 or over on race day. Waves are organised by expected finish time, with a dedicated wave for finish times over 40 minutes that has no time limit. Cash prizes are offered to the first five men and first five women in the elite races: £500, £300, £200, £100 and £50 respectively, plus a £250 course record prize. Masters prizes are awarded by age categories from over 35 up to over 75, and for under-20. Course records listed are 28:01 (2024) and 31:10 (2022).
