Worry Pas Relay
The Worry Pas Relay, hosted by La Run Gang, is a community-focused running event held at Colvert Pond in Centennial Park, Moncton. This evening relay is designed to foster connections between participants through a unique registration process: individuals sign up solo, and the organizers assemble the teams. The event takes place during sunset and emphasizes a relaxed atmosphere social interaction.
Course and Distances
The event features a fast course consisting of 1 km loops. The race format is accessible to all runners and follows these specific distances:
- 10 km total distance per team of five.
- 2 km per individual runner, completed as two 1 km loops.
Event Features and Timing
The event utilizes a dual timing system where each participant receives an official individual time, while the team rankings are determined via a traditional baton-watch system. Participants are provided with a race bib and have access to on-site fuel and refreshments. The atmosphere is supported by a live DJ set during the race.
Included in the registration is a post-race celebration at Pomodori Pizzeria, which features a meal consisting of one pizza and one drink for each runner, along with the awards ceremony.
