Trails-Giving / La course des sentiers 5K
Trails-Giving is the inaugural 5 km point-to-point trail run and walk held in Dieppe on October 12, 2026. The event is organized by MDR Trails, a not-for-profit association working to connect Moncton, Dieppe and Riverview through a continuous trail network. It takes place on a mixed surface course that begins at the Dieppe Aquatic Centre and finishes at Parc Rotary St-Anselme.
The course is roughly 5 km long, with about 77% multi-use trail and 23% paved sections. The route includes a short trail start and a paved residential section in kilometre 1, natural-surface tree-covered trail between kilometres 2 and 3.5, then trail to the finish. The surface is compacted and non-technical; regular running shoes are suitable.
Participant services include chip timing (Atlantic Chip), a finisher's medal for every participant, a personalized race bib, marked course, supervised crossings, first aid and on-site washrooms. There is a free shuttle that runs from the finish area to the start. Parking options include Parc Rotary St-Anselme (finish), with overflow at Aréna Arthur-J.-LeBlanc, or parking at the start in lots provided by partners.
A single start applies to all participants. Strollers are welcome. Dogs are not permitted on the course. Registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
