Legs for Literacy
Legs for Literacy takes place on Main Street in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada, on Sunday 4 October 2026. The event is organized by a registered charity that raises funds for local literacy projects.

The races are chip timed. Certified routes are provided for the 10 km the Half Marathon and the Marathon; the 5 km is described as flat and fast. Participants receive a medal and a short sleeve t shirt if registered by 31 July 2026 when shirt availability is guaranteed. A race expo is part of the weekend. Registrations are non refundable and an optional race day protection policy (RegShield) is offered during registration. Transfers between events or to another person are allowed for a fee of $2.50 plus Race Roster processing fees.
The weekend program includes a Family Fun Run on Saturday 3 October. The Marathon Relay divides the course into eight legs; a timing chip attached to a belt acts as the team baton and is passed in designated exchange zones. The title sponsor is Medavie and municipal partners include the City of Moncton City of Riverview and City of Dieppe.
