Workington 5k Series

The Workington 5K Series is a set of four 5-kilometer races held at Workington Cricket Club in Great Britain, specifically at the Earnest Valentine Ground, The Cloffocks. The series takes place on select Wednesdays from May to August, with each race featuring a certified, accurately measured course (Route B) approved by the Association of UK Course Measurers. The event offers a competitive yet friendly atmosphere, complete with race numbers, safety briefings, first aid support, and lead and sweeper runners.

Prizes are awarded for top finishers in each race and overall series standings, with chip timing provided by Timing Up North. Parking is not available at the cricket club. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
