Borrowdale Trail Half Marathon
The Borrowdale Trail Half Marathon is a trail running event held in Keswick, Cumbria. The race takes place across a single-loop course measuring 21 km. The route encompasses the shores of Derwentwater and the surrounding fells, featuring hilly terrain and varied scenery.
The course is fully marked, and participants do not require specific navigational skills to follow the route. The event starts at Lingholm, while the race headquarters, registration, and finish line are located at Crow Park on Lake Road in Keswick. The event operates under UK Athletics rules and is licensed by the Trail Running Association. To participate, runners must be at least 17 years old on the day of the race.
The event provides several facilities for participants including:

- Baggage storage
- On-site mobile coffee van providing drinks and food
There are no distance markers, changing facilities, or showers available at the race site. The course is not suitable for wheelchairs. All finishers receive a bespoke medal, and digital event photographs are provided for download. Awards are presented to the first three male and female finishers, as well as the winner of each age group category. The race has an entry limit of 100 participants.
