Eskdale Mixed Fell Relay

The Eskdale Mixed Fell Relay is a challenging fell running team relay event held in the scenic Eskdale valley of the Lake District, hosted by Black Combe Runners. Teams of eight runners, comprising mixed gender and age categories, compete across four legs totaling approximately 23.8 miles (38.3 km) with 7,530 feet (2,295 m) of ascent. Each leg involves rough, steep, and unmarked terrain requiring strong navigation skills without GPS, emphasizing map and compass proficiency.
