Eaglesfield Paddle 5 & 10K
This event takes place on 12 July 2026 at Eaglesfield Paddle School, England. It is the second running of two undulating road races through villages south of Cockermouth with mountain views. Proceeds will be donated to the Paddle Community Association to buy equipment for the school. Race numbers are collected at the school playground or inside the hall if wet. There is a short 10-15 minute jog or walk from the school to the start. Boxes will be available at the start for clothing; items placed in the boxes are left at the owner’s risk and uncollected items will be donated to charity after one week.

Both races are held on road. A water station will be available at about the 3 km and 8 km marks. Minimum ages are 12 for the 5 km and 16 for the 10 km. Parking is in the school car park and up Eaglesfield road towards the church; marshals will support anyone leaving the car park before the race has finished. Headphones are not permitted. Results will be timed by Timing Up North Results. If the event does not sell out, a limited number of entries may be available on the day with a £5 surcharge.
