The Eaglesfield Paddle 5 & 10K takes place on 12 July 2026 at Eaglesfield Paddle School, England. The event is the second running of these road races. Registration opens 1 January 2026. Distances offered:
- 10 km
- 5 km
Entry prices listed are £16.00 plus fees for the 10 km and £14.00 plus fees for the 5 km. If the event does not sell out, a limited number of on-day entries will be available with a £5 surcharge. Minimum ages are 16 for the 10 km and 12 for the 5 km.
Course and logistics
Both races run on undulating roads around villages south of Cockermouth with mountain views. Race numbers are collected at the school playground or inside the hall if wet. There is a 10-15 minute jog or walk from the school to the start. Boxes will be available at the start for clothes; these will be transported back to the school, items are left at the owner’s risk, and uncollected items will be donated to charity one week after the event. A water station is provided at about the 3 km and 8 km marks. Parking is in the school car park and up Eaglesfield Road towards the church; marshals will assist anyone leaving the car park before the event ends. Headphones are not permitted.
