Wooly Bully Races
The Wooly Bully Races are an annual road running event on Amherst Island held at a new site on South Shore Road, west of the Stella 40 Foot Road. The site includes on-site parking and is about 4 kilometres from the Stella ferry dock. The course follows a scenic route along Lake Ontario and uses an out-and-back layout running west to east and back.

Ferry access is via the Millhaven dock on Highway 33, just east of Bath, with connections to Stella. Two shuttle school buses transport runners from the ferry to the race. There are two recommended off-island parking locations: the Amherst Ferry parking lot (limited spots) and the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 623, an approximately eight minute walk from the ferry. Organizers note that parking and walking onto the ferry are recommended.
Registration is hosted on the Race Roster platform. The deadline to order a race t-shirt is July 30 and registration closes August 14. Registration fees vary by category; listed examples include a youth run fee of $13 and member and non-member rates up to $56.
The event is Athletics Ontario sanctioned, awards custom ribbons to Kids 1 KM participants, awards top three overall female and male finishers and top three in listed age categories for the 5K and 10K, and offers draw prizes. The race is part of the KRRA Race Series and contributes points to that series. Proceeds support the Neilson Store Museum. The event also forms part of the Waterside Series medal sequence when combined with the Wolfe Island Classic and the Napanee Heritage 5K.
