The Wooly Bully Races
The 15th edition of the Wooly Bully Races is scheduled for Sunday, August 16, 2026 on Amherst Island at South Shore Road in Stella, Ontario. The event takes place on a private homestead on the island and is located on the shore of Lake Ontario.
Distances offered:
- 1 km youth run for children aged 5 to 12
- 5 km on an out and back route along South Shore Road
- 10 km on an out and back route along South Shore Road
The 5 km and 10 km races follow an out and back course along South Shore Road by the lake. Registration carries fees that vary by age group and KRRA membership, with separate categories for minors and adults. The posted registration period runs from March 17 to August 13, 2026.
Race t shirts are available only through online registration and the deadline to order is July 29, 2026. The event lists the Neilson Store Museum and Cultural Centre as a sponsor. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
