Wooly Bully Races
The event takes place on Sunday, August 16, 2026 at a new site on South Shore Road west of Stella 40 Foot Road, near Stella. The course remains the scenic route along Lake Ontario and now runs west to east and back along South Shore Road. The race site is about 4 kilometres from the ferry dock in Stella.

Every kilometre in both the 5K and 10K is marked. There are two water stations; 10K participants will have access to fluids four times and 5K participants twice. Post race refreshments will be served and several draw prizes will be awarded. Final race details will be emailed during the week before the event.
Both the 5K and 10K are part of the 2026 KRRA Race Series. The event also participates in the Waterside Series alongside two other races; the Waterside Series medal is awarded after the Wooly Bully to runners who complete all three events.
Fees match 2025 rates: 5K and 10K KRRA members $45, non-members $50. The 1K fun run for children 5 to 12 years is $10. The deadline to order a race t-shirt with registration is July 30. Online registration opens March 17 and closes late Friday, August 14; in-person registration and race kit pickup are available before race day at Runner’s Choice, 56 Brock Street, Kingston.
