Event
The KRRA Twosome Run is a 5-kilometre road race held at Army Navy Air Force (ANAF) Unit 377, 317 Gore Road, Kingston, Ont. The 2026 edition takes place on Sunday, February 8, 2026. Runners score KRRA series points as individuals and may also enter as teams for combined-team placings.
Race format and course
The race distance is 5 km. Runners may compete individually or as teams; male-female teams are eligible for specific twosome awards, and same-gender teams are permitted. The course starts on Gore Road near Donald Street and finishes down the ANAF driveway. The route is described as mainly flat with a couple of small rolling hills and minimal traffic. The ANAF building is available before and after the race for washrooms and the awards presentation.
Awards and charity
Medals are awarded to the top three overall teams and to top finishers in team age categories. Team age categories use the combined ages of both teammates with ranges including 1-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80-89, 90-99, 100-109, and 110-200. Additional medal categories include top male-female, male-male, and female-female teams. For 2026, a donation will be made to KidSport Kingston.
Registration and extras
Registration is open online with a race fee of $45 and a $5 discount for KRRA members. There is no race-day registration. All registered participants receive a custom pair of mid-height knit Outway socks. A mid-pack prize of running shoes is sponsored by a local running store.
