Limestone Race Weekend
Limestone Race Weekend is a multi-race road running event organized by the Kingston Road Runners Association on April 25 and 26, 2026. Races are held in downtown Kingston and in the area of the Kingston Penitentiary over two days.

The Waterfront 10K and the kids 2K take place on Saturday at the west side parking lot of Kingston Penitentiary. The 5K and the half marathon are held on Sunday with start and finish at Confederation Park across from City Hall.
Registration and rules Online registration closes April 22 and there are no race day registrations. Registering by April 9 guarantees a shirt for 5K, 10K and half entrants and a finisher medal for the half marathon. No refunds or deferrals will be issued. Strollers and non-affiliated cyclists are not permitted and unsanctioned use may result in disqualification.
Categories, timing and services Races use chip timing and results are posted on race day and updated after each race. Gender categories include Male, Female and Non-Binary/Open; age categories apply and minimum age limits are enforced for the 10K and half marathon. The half marathon has three water stations at about 4 km, 6 km and 9 km on the out-and-back course; only water is provided and porta potties are available at the 6 km station.
Community and awards The event is volunteer-run. Proceeds will be donated to local charities including the Boys and Girls Club South East and the Start2Finish Running and Reading Program. Cash prizes and age-category awards are offered for the 5K, 10K and half marathon and half finishers receive a commemorative medal. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
