About the race
The Santa Shuffle Kingston is a community fundraising event supporting the local work of The Salvation Army. It takes place at the Salvation Army Kingston Citadel, 816 Centennial Drive, Kingston, ON, on December 5, 2026.
There is a single registration option for all participants: an individual registration that covers either the 5K Fun Run or the 1K Elf Walk. Each registrant receives a personalized race bib and a finisher's medal that also serves as a Christmas tree ornament. Registration pricing is shown as CA$61.59 including processing fees.
Fundraising is central to the event. Donors receive confirmation for online gifts, and The Salvation Army issues official tax receipts for donations over CA$20. Fundraising incentives tied to set thresholds include a 2026 Santa Shuffle buff for raising CA$50, a toque for raising CA$150 (youth threshold CA$100), and a limited-edition hoodie for participants among the first 500 nationwide to raise CA$500 or more. Discounts are applied automatically at checkout: youth 18 and under and seniors 65+ receive CA$10 off, groups of 4 to 9 receive 10% off per registration, and groups of 10 or more receive 15% off per registration.
