Woolastook Whopping
The Woolastook Whopping is a challenging 12-hour last-person-standing trail running event held annually at Woolastook Park, Upper Kingsclear, New Brunswick. Celebrating its 6th anniversary in 2025, the race features a roughly 6-kilometer loop with about 150 meters of elevation, combining gravel and technical single and double track trails. Runners must complete each loop within an hour, alternating directions, with the final hour being a competitive race to the finish.
The event fosters a supportive atmosphere with food, drinks, massages, and a water stop, encouraging participants to enjoy the trail running community. It is a cup-less, environmentally conscious event with first aid on site. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
