The Woolastook Whopping is a challenging 12-hour last-person-standing trail running event held at Woolastook Park in Upper Kingsclear, New Brunswick. Celebrating its 6th anniversary in 2025, the race features hourly loops of approximately 6 kilometers with 150 meters of elevation, alternating directions each hour on mixed gravel and technical single and double-track trails. Participants must complete each loop within an hour to continue, with the final hour being a traditional race to the finish.

The event fosters a supportive atmosphere with food, drinks, massages, and a water stop, encouraging runners to enjoy the community and natural surroundings. It is a cup-less, environmentally conscious event with first aid and washroom facilities on site. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.

Always double-check with the organizer's website – things can change, and we might have sprinted past a few details!
