UNB Student Union 2026 Colour Run in Support of the IWK Foundation
The University of New Brunswick Student Union (UNBSU) organizes a community colour run at Queen's Square in Fredericton to raise funds for the IWK Foundation. The event is alcohol free and open to UNB students, staff, faculty and members of the Fredericton community. It is advertised as suitable for all ages.
Participants may walk, jog, run or roll along an approved route at their own pace; the event is a fun run rather than a timed competition. The route begins and finishes at Queen's Square and travels through Lincoln Trail, Carleton Park and the Bill Thorpe Walking Bridge before returning to Queen's Square. Colour powder is distributed only at designated, supervised areas in Queen's Square.
Attendees are encouraged to wear a white T-shirt or other light coloured clothing and footwear that they are comfortable getting colourful. Proceeds from the event will support the IWK Foundation and its work helping children, youth and families across the Maritimes.
