Kicking PancreAS 5K - New Brunswick
Kicking PancreAS 2026 is a community 5K run/walk held at Government House on Woodstock Road in Fredericton, New Brunswick, on September 12, 2026. Participants may walk or run at their own pace; the course is open for 90 minutes. The event includes a finisher medal, a running bib, and event swag. Costumes, purple clothing and glow-in-the-dark gear are encouraged.
The event combines participation with fundraising for pancreatic cancer programs. Funds support public awareness, healthcare education, patient support, and Canadian research. Organizers report 139 participants and just over $8,000 raised in 2025 and list targets of 170 participants and CA$10,000 in fundraising for 2026. Race kit pickup is scheduled on September 11 at the Running Room (449 King Street) and kit pickup is also available one hour before the event. Spots are limited and there is no onsite registration.
