Kicking PancreAS 5K - New Brunswick
Kicking PancreAS is a charitable 5K event taking place on September 12, 2026 at Picaroons Brewing Company, 912 Union St, Fredericton, NB, Canada. The event raises funds for pancreatic cancer public awareness, patient support, healthcare education, and Canadian research.
The Fredericton event in 2025 had 139 participants and raised just over CA$8,000. Local targets for 2026 are 170 participants and CA$10,000 in fundraising. Donations remain in Canada to support programs and research.
Included with registration are a finisher medal, running bib, and event swag. Race kit pickup is available the day before at Running Room, 449 King Street, and also at the event venue on race day. Spots are limited and there is no onsite registration.
The course is open for 90 minutes. Participants are invited to wear purple and glow in the dark gear; costumes are encouraged. Published registration rates include a team rate of CA$34.70, an individual rate of CA$40.11, and a family rate of CA$88.72 (minimum three and maximum five members per family registration).
