Woof Woof K-9 5K Run/Walk
The Woof Woof K-9 5K Run/Walk is an inaugural 5K event on May 9, 2026 at the San Juan Sports Complex, 1419 San Antonio Avenue, San Juan, TX 78589. The event allows participants to run or walk with their dogs and includes both in-person and virtual options. There is a separate veteran and first responder registration category.
The event is chip timed and offers male and female age group awards for first, second and third place in the following categories: 1-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-64, and 65+. Registered participants receive a finisher medal and an event t-shirt if they register by the t-shirt deadline of April 17, 2026 at noon.
Registration details vary by entry type: general 5K registration opens March 11, 2026 with a fee of $25; the virtual 5K registration opens April 8, 2026 with a fee of $25; the veteran and first responder category opens April 13, 2026 with a fee of $20. Registration closes May 7, 2026.
Packet pick up is scheduled for May 8, 2026 at Railyard 83 Ice House, 106 North 9th Street, Alamo, TX 78516 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM. Participant packets will not be mailed. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
