Run With The Wildcats | 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run
Run With The Wildcats is the 1st Annual Mother’s Day edition community running event in Weslaco, presented as Miles for Mom. The event supports the Weslaco East Athletic Booster Club in its effort to raise funds for athletic scholarships.
The event offers the following distances:
- 5K
- 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk
Registration information in the event materials lists opening and closing dates and fees for each distance. Registration fees are $25 for the 5K and $15 for the 1 Mile Fun Run. A t-shirt deadline is listed as April 16, 2026; participants who register after that date will receive shirts and sizes while supplies last.
Packet pick-up is scheduled at the Weslaco East High School Gym on May 8, 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
Awards for the 5K include top three male and female finishers in each age group and overall awards for top male and top female. The 5K is listed with chip timing and live results.
