Woodford Community Duathlon

DECEMBER 2025 CANCELLED. The Woodford Community Duathlon is a multisport event organised by McA Fitness at Woodford War Memorial Community Centre, Chester Road, Woodford, Stockport, SK7 1PS. The event offers run-bike-run and swim-bike-run formats and is presented as a community-focused race.

Athletes can choose between two formats:

Swim Bike Run - Run 2.4 km, Bike 11.5 km, Run 1.0 km
Sprint Duathlon - Run 4.4 km, Bike 19.5 km, Run 2.4 km

Timing is manual only; there is no chip timing and results are based on official finish order. Entry benefits listed include a finisher medal, a fully marshalled course, manual finish result, water and sweets at the finish, clearly signed run and bike routes, a safe transition area, a race briefing and support for first-time athletes. Free on-site parking is available.

The run route is described as flat and accessible. The bike course is mostly flat with one short climb and is surfaced in smooth tarmac. Transition is compact and organised to be easy to navigate. The event notes an age eligibility requirement of 15 and over on 31/12/2026 and shows entry options including a volunteer role and a paid sprint entry.
