Woodford Community Duathlon
The Woodford Community Duathlon is a community multisport event organised by McA Fitness at Woodford War Memorial Community Centre, Chester Rd, Woodford, Stockport, SK7 1PS. It offers run bike run and swim bike run formats on an accessible, grassroots course in Cheshire with a supportive race environment.
Entry includes a McA Series finisher medal, manual finish results, water and sweets at the finish, clearly signed run and bike routes, a safe and compact transition area, a friendly race briefing, support for first-time athletes, and free on-site parking.
Race formats and distances:
- Swim Bike Run - Run 1: 2.4 km; Bike: 11.5 km; Run 2: 1 km
- Sprint Duathlon - Run 1: 4.4 km; Bike: 19.5 km; Run 2: 2.4 km
Timing is manual only with results based on official finish order; there is no chip timing. The run route is flat and accessible for a range of abilities. The bike course is mostly flat with one short, more challenging climb, and surfaces are smooth tarmac throughout. The transition area is compact and organised for easy navigation.
