Event

Woodford Community Duathlon takes place on 21 December 2025 at Woodford War Memorial Community Centre, Chester Road, Woodford, Stockport, SK7 1PS. The event is organised by MCA Fitness & Events. Entry is open to athletes aged 15 and over on 31/12/2025. On-the-day entry fees are listed at £30 for each race option.

Race format and facilities

Race options:

Super Sprint: 2.4 km Run / 11.79 km Bike / 2.4 km Run
Sprint: 4.4 km Run / 19.5 km Bike / 2.4 km Run

The route uses rural suburb roads around Woodford, Wilmslow and Mottram St Andrew and is mainly flat with a short, punchy hill on the bike. Surfaces include tarmac path and road. The event includes McA series medals, water stations and sweets. Finish line photos will be available. There is ample free car parking on site; height restrictions apply to the car park, so competitors travelling with bikes on car roofs are asked to remove them. Spectators are encouraged to attend.
