Woodford Community Duathlon
The Woodford Community Duathlon is a community multisport event in Cheshire organised by McA Fitness at Woodford War Memorial Community Centre, Chester Road, Woodford, Stockport SK7 1PS. The December 2025 edition was cancelled. The event offers both run-bike-run and swim-bike-run formats on a compact, accessible site.
There are two race formats with the following legs:
- Run 1: 2.4 km; Bike: 11.5 km; Run 2: 1 km
- Run 1: 4.4 km; Bike: 19.5 km; Run 2: 2.4 km
Timing is manual only; there is no chip timing and results are based on official finish order. Entry includes a McA Series finisher medal, a fully marshalled course, clearly signed run and bike routes, a safe transition area, a friendly race briefing and support for first-time athletes. Water and sweets are provided at the finish. Free on-site parking is available and there is additional parking on nearby roads; on-site parking is requested to the left where possible and the entrance has a 2.1 m height restriction.
The run route is described as flat and accessible. The bike course is mostly flat with one short, more challenging climb. Surfaces are smooth tarmac throughout and the transition area is compact and organised for ease of use. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
