Woodbooger 100, Norton, Virginia
The Woodbooger 100 is a trail endurance event held June 12 and 13, 2027, in Norton, Virginia. Hosted by Southwest Virginia Running in partnership with the City of Norton, the event uses trails and forest roads in the High Knob region and on U.S. Forest Service land.

Courses highlight scenic ridgelines, dense forest corridors, technical Appalachian trails, and steep climbs and descents on a mix of trails, forest roads, and paved roads. Organizers note significant elevation gain and a goal of using as much non-repeating trail as possible while trail systems are rebuilt after storm damage.
The course will be marked and runners are expected to prepare and know the route in advance; poles and required gear are suggested. Aid stations are described as well stocked, and the event includes clear course marking, robust safety and medical planning, and Leave No Trace stewardship. Community elements include trail work days, volunteer opportunities, and partnerships with local businesses and organizations.
Finishers receive awards: 100K and 100 mile finishers receive a custom Woodbooger buckle, while 25K and 50K finishers receive a custom medal.
