Woodbooger 100 - Norton, Virginia
The Woodbooger 100 is an ultrarunning event held in Norton, Virginia, with the Norton Expo Center serving as the start and finish location. The event offers the following distances:
- 100 mile
- 100k
- 50k
- 25k
The course is described as offering scenic views, creek and forest terrain, well-stocked aid stations, strong local support, and significant elevation gain. Cut-off limits are specified by duration: 100-mile and 100k entrants have a 40-hour cut-off, while 50k and 25k entrants have a 16-hour cut-off.
Finisher recognition differs by distance. All 100k and 100-mile finishers receive an official finisher’s buckle specific to their distance. Runners in the 50k and 25k distances receive a custom finisher’s medal. Awards are given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd overall in Male, Female, and Nonbinary/Open categories for each distance.
Entry policies allow transfers between runners and distance transfers up to the day before the event; runners dropping to a shorter distance are not eligible for a refund, and runners increasing distance must pay the price difference. Rollovers are permitted for medical conditions, including pregnancy and post-partum. Early-bird registration is noted to run from Thanksgiving through 12/31/2025.
