Woodbooger 100
The Woodbooger 100 takes place June 12 and 13, 2027, in Norton, Virginia, in the High Knob region. The event uses established trails and forest roads on City of Norton and U.S. Forest Service land.

Courses highlight scenic ridgelines, dense forest running, technical trail sections, long climbs and descents, and significant elevation gain. Runners can expect mountain and valley views and creek crossings along rugged Appalachian trails.
The event includes well-stocked aid stations, clear course marking, and robust safety and medical planning. Organizers emphasize Leave No Trace stewardship, responsible land use, and post-event restoration.
Awards for finishers are distance-specific: 100K and 100-Mile finishers receive a custom Woodbooger buckle, while 25K and 50K finishers receive a custom finisher medal.
Community involvement is part of the event structure, including volunteer opportunities, partnerships with local businesses and organizations, and scheduled trail work days on April 25, 2026, May 25, 2026, and May 31, 2026.
